Director: Lone Scherfig
Distribution: Sony
The author of About a Boy and Fever 90, Nick Hornby wrote the screenplay for An Education, a small tale of adolescent life, produced by BBC.Londra, 1961.
Jenny was sixteen, and his age is intelligent, sensitive and with a sense of humor as for life. His desire to grow and explode all at once when she meets David, a thirty year old who embodies the spirit of the "swinging London ". Jenny immediately falls in love and their relationship to make the "woman" ...
It 's a small film, but manages to be this big An Education directed by Lon Scherig. To summarize the direction, one could think of a hand that slowly opens slowly to show a beautiful flower. And 'this attitude used by Scherig final effect is amazing. A slow pace, but not boring. Dialogues and sharp incisors. Some momentum in bold script (perhaps out of place where the excessive freedom given to the girl from her parents), and a magnificent (director speaking) "first time" going to close after a cynical circle romantic life of a Paris sensattotina to frame and take home.
excellent performers on which stands Alfred Molina and the star Carey Mulligan, really charming, with her looks that embodies the will to life (and strength) of all adolescents.
